Applications of BBa_M36203
Plasmids with this ADH actuator were transformed into E. coli. The transformed E. coli grown in the presence of ethanol had increased growth rates with the ADH actuator compared to E. coli that did not receive it. Relative growth was determined and recorded after 24 hours. A significant difference in growth rates was noticed during the E. coli's growth in 4% ethanol.
This actuator can be used after any standard PoPS-regulating sensor.
